I went to visit an exhibit….a lecture to be precise…by this French artist called Orlan (http://www.orlan.net/). It would eb an understatement to say that it freaked me out….Carnal Art…..is something I was seeing for the first time….her operations….are touted “art”…I guess I do not understand fashion…may be not even art…because I did not understand it….not one bit….I am going to try and figure out more about this person…and her art….
It was the second time I went to the NSW Gallery of Art (http://www.artgallery.nsw.gov.au/)….the first…wasn’t a pretty memory…..it had something to do with the Tropfest and creating an artwork of mine under the umbrella of greats like Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael and the greats…..!!
