Who do you look like?

July 10, 2008

I have been meaning to write this blog post for a long time, but forgetful as I am, I kept forgetting the very core of same !! Now that it has come to me again…I will start before I forget :)

A couple of months ago, my friend Urs Kemmann’s folks came to Australia to visit him. We met with them at the Bar on Broadway pub over a drink. Before they came in, I asked him…”who do you resemble..your mom or your dad?”…He answered that he looked like his Dad, which he does…A day or so later, when we (Caroline and me) were hanging around, procrastinating….she asked me…”so who do you resemble Jeet?”….I had to say….”I look like my Mom..well more like my Uncle…but yeah..on my Mom’s side”…Caza as always….burst out laughing….She always has a weird or thought or two…that she muses over…and sure as hell she let me in on what she was thinking…”what do you think is worse to admit….for a guy…that he looks like his mom…or for a girl to say she takes after her dad?”…I had to guard my ego…so I said…”its no big deal…for a guy to admit he looks like his mom…so long as …you know…he is not too…..feminine….and plus…I look like my uncle…lol…”

Vijay Desai…is an enigma…a mystery…torture….art personified

The dude with the height…and the name…”mera naam vijay…hyai”…Amitabh in Agnipath style…..with the Sitar…who the great AHJ Khan (kanala khada) quoted….”my reflection from the past”…one of my first disciples…I taught him guitar you know !! hahaha….anyways..

This dude is a genious…a weird freak…the most untrustworthy person…ouch…sorry….but a true friend indeed. He is an inspiration…a strength….a charisma…NOT THE BIKE…come to think of it…he can’t ride one without bruising himself…

We shared a lot of creative energy…his Sitar playing has brought tears in my eyes…and his singing…is like…a blessing….I AM NOT GAY…he is just a very good friend…

There are places…everyone must see before dying…This is one person…everyone should meet….He might make you wanna kill yourself…hehehe…but it will be worth it..

Cheers Bro..
Tk Cr..
Long live

I think its about time I wrote a lil something for this ass. Thats right..he is the biggest ass!!
Seriously I have had the best times with the fella…I am really glad that MCOE…admitted this charasi…heheh…
Else we would have met…but in some other context. This guy is truly one of my best friends and will always remain so. May be not…hehehe….coz this freak does not stay in touch at all….again..ass…
I met him sometime in 2001…its 2007…we have seen lots of ups…by that I mean….high, buzzed, drunk..hehe…. and downs…by that I mean…1 down, 2 down…three down etc hhehe…and we have stuck through them as good pals should.
This guy is an amazing talent…a mama’s boy..hehe…we have taken him apart…but he is very good at heart..very pure…and an absolute ass…
My life would have been different…had I not been friends with this dude…I am not sure…I wanted it to be any different than this..
All the best bro..
Good things lie ahead…

Kapil Madan

December 4, 2006

Kapil Madan….If anyone were to ask me, who epitomises “hard work and dedication”…I would have no reservations in pointing this fellow out.Give him a job and he will get on it, with a zest that is hard to fathom. And he always delivers !!He is a tough guy….on the outside, but a very loving and caring fellow deep down.He is very lucky to have a great friend circle and they all are an amazing bunch of people. What separates this guy is simply his love of hard work…He is very simple and down to earth and goes about his life without saying much….He is his own person….a gem of a guy….and a great friend to have.I am proud to boast of having a friend like “kaps”…
“sabu” or “Sunny prajee” ,umm…”capsicum”.well I am the GOD of the “NICK-NAMING” Business !!
I guess….everyone looks up to him….me included, even though he is younger to me !!For he exudes that aura of “responsibility”.Any job under him, is a guaranteed success…and we don’t even bother thinking about it again…
“kaps hai na”.

We trust him immensely to deliver the goods…and that he does..with an amazing “ease”. He is a great guy to be friends with.He loves reading, Music and his friends….

Anything that concerns this fellow, cannot be complete without the mention of the word “backstage”…he is the GOD of BACKSTAGE…and he deserves full credit on part of the ON-STAGERS like myself.Had it not been for Kaps, none of my performances would have been possible. He is always open to suggestions and accepts them…he will never be rude and curt to you….he has got a very high boiling point…and is laid back and cheerful most of the times !!There is one thing he hates…thats unrest and fights…
He will do well…and dude…whenever you need me…I will always be around….”ain’t no mountain high….u don’t have to worry…” !!
Take care,
Luv.
Sorry that it took me so long to write you this testimonial !!

Rishi..as he prefers to be called these days is my brother…..my REAL brother…see us together and you might doubt the very edifice of brotherhood…we aren’t enemies per se….but yes very close to that !! We are good friends and the bst buds when we both wanna be so,else its WAR….haha…he hates CRICKET,and games for that matter, any activity that leads to excercise…except one !!He is a wonderful person…and a great big brother to have…he doesn’t look afterr you at all….and leaves you out coldut in times of need, but still he is the best for he has taught me to be me,and my life would be incomplete without this crazy fellow….I hope that he’d read this testimonial and post it for everyone to see…..take care bro….luv
